Working Model: Home-based with travel

As a SHEQ Trainer within BSI Group, you will deliver key learning for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality in both face-to-face and virtual classroom environments. Using accelerated learning techniques and proven online delivery approaches, you'll deliver to both members of the public and clients to help improve business and operational performance. This is an extremely rewarding role as you'll have the opportunity to share SHEQ best practice across various industries and sectors. You'll need to enjoy thinking outside of the box to ensure you meet and exceed our development objectives whilst tailoring your style and approach to accommodate individual learning styles. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Deliver BSI training courses in a manner that ensures that value is added to clients and their business/organisation.
  • Provide delegates with information on how the training is aligned to the overall customer journey with BSI to raise customer awareness.
  • Deliver excellent training courses/solutions and day-to-day interactions with clients and key stakeholders to continually enhance the reputation and perception of BSI.
  • Provide feedback to support course development in line with the new course and existing product development process.
  • Aid with the design of training solutions (E.g. classroom, electronic, correspondence, mentoring, coaching) to improve the quality and range of the training offered.
  • Maintain and enhance appropriate professional qualification status in relevant disciplines to keep up to date in own area of expertise.

Experience & Expertise:

  • Strong technical knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 in the Health & Safety, Quality, and Environment sectors.
  • Experience of implementing and/or auditing management systems standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 as a minimum).
  • Effective trainer/tutor with an understanding of learning principles.
  • Proven success in delivering sessions in person and/or online.
  • Strong design thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Travel Requirements:

This is a home-based position; however, there will be the requirement to travel across the UK to deliver courses. Please note that a full and valid UK driving licence is required.

The base salary for this position can range from £51,600 to £64,500 per annum; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, candidate competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
