About the role
BSI is continuing to expand its investment in Innovation and we are looking for an Innovation Business Partner to join our growing Innovation team. This role will play a key part in helping future-proof BSI’s business streams through innovation, emerging technologies, and new client-focused solutions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, stream leadership teams, and BSI’s wider Innovation function, you will help identify, shape, and deliver strategic initiatives that create long-term business value. Responsibilities
- Drive the innovation agenda across designated BSI business streams
- Identify and shape strategic innovation opportunities and future-focused initiatives
- Support the development and integration of new client-facing solutions and technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Innovation, Technology, Commercial, and Leadership teams
- Support innovation projects from idea generation through to implementation and adoption
- Champion emerging technologies and continuous improvement across the business
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology partners
- Support innovation workshops, research activities, and business change initiatives
- Help embed innovation solutions into operational, sales, and marketing activities
- Contribute to innovation roadmaps, reporting, and strategic planning
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in innovation, transformation, project/program management, technology consulting, or a related field
- Exposure to areas such as AI, Data Science, Blockchain, IoT, Automation, Agile delivery, or Design Thinking would be highly beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities
- A passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and business improvement
- Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic and evolving environments
- Confidence influencing and engaging with senior stakeholders
- A collaborative and proactive mindset with strong business acumen
Salary Range: UK = £58,500 - £78,000
The advertised salary range reflects the level, scope and responsibilities of the role. Starting salary within that range will be determined based on experience, skills, market considerations and alignment with internal equity principles.
