About the Role

Based in Cambridge on a hybrid basis, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sustainability innovation at BSI. As a Sustainability Innovation Lab Analyst, you’ll research emerging trends, explore market opportunities, and help shape cutting‑edge solutions. You’ll contribute to brainstorming sessions, strategic discussions, and digital innovation projects, identifying how BSI can take action in the evolving sustainability landscape. From deep‑dive research to stakeholder engagement, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to test and refine ideas that could go to market.

Responsibilities

  • Research sustainability trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to identify areas where BSI can innovate.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions to develop new ideas and solutions.
  • Support the development and testing of digital innovation projects, helping to bring them to market.
  • Collaborate with external partners, internal teams, and clients to refine and validate solutions.
  • Take ownership of specific tasks within projects, such as conducting research, engaging with stakeholders, or gathering insights.
  • Communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have

  • Strong analytical and research skills to assess trends and market data.
  • The ability to think critically and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working on diverse projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence to engage with stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn and contribute to a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Some experience or familiarity with project‑management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP) and human‑centric design (HCD) is a plus.
