OR Singapore, Robinson Road – Hybrid workingPermanent, Full timeWe’re looking for a detail orientated and analytical individual who will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development, management and execution of the BSI’s ethics and compliance program.In this role you will support the Head of Compliance & Ethics and a wide range of internal stakeholders in relation to risk analysis, policy management, compliance investigations, training and monitoring activities.You will be recognised as a subject matter expert and will be is responsible for drafting and editing policies and procedures and overseeing the management of the wider Group Policy Framework. This includes identifying, researching and interpreting the laws, rules, regulations, codes, standards and guidelines that govern the company\’s operations.In addition, to enable a more proactive and predictive approach to the assessment and early identification of compliance risk, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the compliance and legal analytics strategy and risk monitoring activities. As well as play a keep part in promoting a culture of ethics and integrity within BSI, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging training material and overseeing communication and awareness campaigns.Our head office is based in The Acre, a landmark office building in the heart of Covent Garden. It is solar-powered, fully electric, and built with environmental impact in mind – featuring BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 4.5-star certifications – helping us on our journey to net zero.**Key Responsibilities**Policy Management* Drafting and editing policies to be compliant with laws, regulations, industry best practices and company guidelines.* Resolving conflicts in company policies with other departments.* Identifying areas of ambiguity in company policy where clarification is needed.* Ensuring that new or revised policies are communicated to all relevant departments.* Collaborating with other departments to determine how current policies can be improved.Training & Education* Lead with the planning and implementation of compliance and ethics projects across the organisation.* Provide comprehensive training to employees on compliance matters, ensuring a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.* Develop change management plans for projects and awareness campaigns, which plans incorporate timelines for materials/resources development as well as communication strategies.* Developing training materials for employees on existing or new policies.**To be successful in the role, you will have:*** Experience drafting policies and procedures from scratch.* Experience writing internal governance documentation and reports.* Law Degree/Certified Internal Auditor/ACCA Qualified* Expert in UK Legislations.* Articulate, confident communicator who possess a high level of oral and written English.* Meticulous – you hold yourself to high standards and have an obsessive attention to detail.* Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Excel/PowerPoint/ Power BI, Tableau or similar)* Proven experience using Tableau or similar Business Analytics tools to transform complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.* Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.Grow your career and expand your skills and knowledge.
