About the role:

We are hiring for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Group Finance team in Chiswick.

Join BSI as a Financial Reporting Manager and play a key role in shaping the financial integrity and reporting of our UK Topco legal entities as well as provide technical accounting support and expertise for the Group. In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for statutory reporting, technical accounting, and embedding a robust financial control framework. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your IFRS and UK GAAP expertise, drive improvements in reporting processes, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Lead the month-end and year-end financial close for UK Topco entities, ensuring accuracy and control over financial data.
  • Prepare technical accounting papers on audit and accounting matters under IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Own and deliver statutory financial statements and annual reporting requirements.
  • Provide monthly internal reporting packs including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and funding updates.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls in collaboration with the Head of Global Financial Controls.
  • Manage the UK entities\’ year-end audit process, including planning, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and advise on implications for the Group.
  • Support Group-level policy development using tools such as EY Atlas.
  • Oversee the Group dividend process and intercompany balances.
  • Coordinate payroll and expense review and support tax compliance through business service charge allocations.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification with significant post-qualification experience (minimum 5 years PQE).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Demonstrated success in a Financial Reporting or Legal Entity Manager role in a commercial environment.
  • Experience managing complex reporting requirements and audits across multiple entities.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with strong analytical and influencing skills.
  • Ability to deliver insights under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
