About the role

As a Colleague Communications Manager within the Group Colleague Communications function, your role is to support the Senior Colleague Communications Business Partner in designing, planning, and executing communication and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and understanding of where BSI is heading as a business. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at all levels, responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and execution of internal communications and engagement efforts across the divisions and/or functions. You will work closely with other Colleague Communications Managers and the Change Communications team to deliver quality communication and engagement activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver strategic internal communication and engagement campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Create compelling, audience-focused content across channels like SharePoint, newsletters, videos, and events.
  • Support a consistent communication approach through planning, messaging, and best practice sharing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the Change Communications team to align messaging and drive clarity.
  • Advise and coach senior leaders on impactful internal communication.
  • Uphold brand and tone of voice standards, ensuring consistency across materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness using metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • 8+ years’ experience in internal communications within large, global organizations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement communication strategies that drive engagement and support change.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to advise senior leaders.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to use data and insight to inform communications.
  • Experience coaching others and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.
  • Relevant qualifications in communications (e.g., IOIC, CIPR) and a degree in a related field.
