Seasonal Assistant Ecologist – Didcot, Oxfordshire (6 month contract)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Seasonal Assistant Ecologist to join our team in Oxford (Didcot). The post is available from March 2025 until the end of September 2025. The contract will be for up to 35 hours per week and will primarily involve daytime and evening survey work with office-based work such as assisting with data and equipment management, reporting and data analysis as required. You will need to live an easily commutable distance to the office.

Early in 2026 we will be moving office location to Milton Park, Didcot. Located just off the A34, and with excellent public transport links, Milton Park is a dedicated science, technology and business park with a large number of amenities including cafés, gym & swimming pool, nursery, pharmacy, urban gardens and a programme of community events throughout the year.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is pro‑actively seeking significant survey experience for their CV. You will work alongside experienced in‑house ecologists and training will be provided to enable you to develop your ecology skills.
