We are hiring a Local CDL-A Truck Driver for a dedicated grocery delivery position based in Chester, NY. This role offers daily home time, consistent freight, paid training, and a stable local schedule. Drivers will deliver fresh and frozen grocery products to supermarkets and distribution centers within approximately 250 miles of Chester, NY. This is a full-time local driving opportunity with a Sunday through Thursday schedule and early morning start times.
Schedule
- Sunday through Thursday
- Early morning start times between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM
- 5-day workweek
- Sixth day may be available voluntarily during normal operations
- Sixth day may be required around major holidays
- Drivers may be required to work holidays if scheduled
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver fresh and frozen grocery products using refrigerated trailers
- Operate within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY
- Deliver to supermarkets and distribution centers
- Complete multi-stop local routes
- Pick up return product or backhauls when assigned
- Assist customers professionally during deliveries
- Support nearby local accounts as needed
- Use a pallet jack when required
- Follow all safety, DOT, and company procedures
- Maintain strong customer service standards
