We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Close Protection Officer / Chauffeur to provide security and transport support for a private family in London.

This is a full-time, permanent position for someone with proven experience protecting private clients or UHNW families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the principal(s), family members, and their residence.

Duties include residential security, dynamic risk assessments, close protection during daily activities, professional chauffeuring, and assisting with personal and business-related errands.

This role requires excellent judgement, discretion, and the ability to remain calm and proactive in all situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide close protection for the principal(s) and family.
  • Conduct daily security checks of the residence and surrounding grounds.
  • Identify and assess potential security risks and take preventative action.
  • Maintain a discreet but visible security presence.
  • Carry out dynamic risk assessments for daily movements and travel.
  • Provide safe, professional chauffeuring services.
  • Assist with personal and business-related errands.
  • Liaise with household staff and external providers to maintain security standards.
  • Maintain assigned vehicles in excellent condition.
  • Ensure complete confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Close Protection Licence.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with an excellent driving record.
  • Proven close protection experience with private clients, private families, or UHNW individuals.
  • Strong knowledge of residential security and protective operations.
  • Professional, discreet, reliable, and flexible with working hours.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills.
  • Valid references.
  • Previous residential security experience is advantageous.
