THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to growth, we’re looking to welcome a BUYER to our AWESOME Purchasing team. You’ll be working alongside highly skilled, friendly, results focused Purchasing colleagues delivering key responsibilities that will keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll do this by ensuring materials, services, and equipment are sourced on time, at the right cost, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Every day will be different and responsibilities include:
- Completing procurement activities across a diverse portfolio, including services, maintenance, repairs, chemicals, electronics, machined parts, semiconductors, and hardware built to government and company specifications.
- Negotiating contracts, long term agreements, NDAs and pricing frameworks to secure competitive advantage, maintaining quality, time and delivery standards.
- Tracking, reporting & resolving open P.O’s, late orders, delivery schedules, and supplier on time performance.
- Overseeing PO creation, amendments, expedites, and supplier communications using required business systems and processes.
- Following up with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues
