Role Description
The English Teacher role at BSC Education in Brighton is a temporary (Full Time / Part Time), on-site position focused on delivering high quality English language leasons to a range of diverse students. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging lessons, tailoring teaching methods to different proficiency levels, and supporting students in building confidence in spoken and written English. Teachers will create lesson plans aligned with BSC’s standards, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. Additional tasks may involve collaborating with colleagues on curriculum improvements, contributing to a supportive classroom environment, contribute to the social prigramme, and participate in school activities that enhance the student experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience supporting students at various levels.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, student centered lessons.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Candidates should hold a relevant teaching qualification or certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and experience in English language education.
- Candidates should demonstrate cultural awareness, classroom management skills, and the ability to create an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
- Candidates should be reliable, organised, and able to adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning styles and goals.
