We are seeking an experienced person who may wish to give some time to helping us maintain our two buildings The Southville Centre, a grade II listed building on Beauley Road and The Chessel Centre, a purpose-built building on Chessel Street opened in 2017.

We work to ensure that our buildings are maintained to a high standard, are welcoming spaces, staffed, safe, clean, tidy, and functional to meet the needs of our service users and staff. The specific functional areas that this role will be responsible for are to:

  • Assist with the general upkeep of the centreโ€™s grounds and communal areas, helping to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Support with the maintenance tasks, including the safe use of tools and equipment, under the guidance of our facilities team.
  • Play a key role in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment by keeping our room hire spaces clean and tidy.

Location: The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Bristol, BS3 1QG and The Chessel Centre, Chessel Street, Bristol BS3 3DN

Who you are:You have previous experience and time available. You may be handy with tools and a great painter/decorator. You are able to lift and could set-out and pack-up a room hire space, you might enjoy gardening and outside upkeep. If you have skills, we want to hear about them.
