We are looking for an HGV trailer mechanic to work in our busy workshop in Leighton Buzzard.
Responsibilities include:
- MOT preparation and pre‑MOT checks (PMI’s)
- New trailer pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs)
- Running repairs and addressing defects on a varied fleet of trailers
- Taillift, Loler and weight test operation preferred but not required
Qualifications required:
- City and Guilds or IRTEC qualifications (minimum required)
- Knowledge of ABS/EBS and associated diagnostics for large trailer fleets
We offer a competitive package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Working hours: Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings. This position is nondiscriminatory. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates.
