Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct a daily stock count ensuring the inventory is kept up to date with physical quantity at all times.
  • Manage control measures to ensure all errors, inaccuracies and discrepancies are identified, addressed and resolved.
  • Perform the expiry check and batch code for all raw materials as per procedure.
  • Control and document stock returns including damaged goods and fulfilment of such orders.
  • Run investigation regarding miscounting/missing products on the system and physically.
  • Follow damaged products procedure.
  • File up all controlled documents according to SOPs accessible upon request.
  • Undertake informed, appropriate action, and other reasonable duties within the framework of the post, directed by Stock Control Co-Ordinator/Manager.
  • Report any risks that may be involved.
  • Perform all duties in strict accordance with GDP guidelines.
  • Observe and adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Report all quality issues to the Warehouse Team Leader, bringing to their attention all discrepancies, deviations from procedure and other quality incidents.
  • Deal with matters in a professional and methodical manner.
  • Work to specified guidelines.
  • Use initiative to deal with any problems arising.
  • Be aware of, and contribute to effective space management.
  • Provide holiday and absence cover when required, in other roles.
  • Perform any other duties that may be required by your team leader or manager.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes

  • Effective communication skills, verbal, reading and writing.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative in a similar organization is desirable.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage time effectively to determine priorities and deliver to agreed timelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Health and Safety awareness.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Distribution Practices.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
