Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and develop business opportunities in the clinical trial sector.
- Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and external service providers, including formalising contractual agreements.
- Provide expertise in the execution of comprehensive clinical end-to-end programmes and projects: comparator sourcing and procurement.
- Serve as the primary contact for strategic clients and sponsors.
- Translate operational strategies into competitive pricing models aligned with client needs.
- Demonstrate consistent commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction, adapting to the evolving regulatory landscape and rapidly shifting priorities characteristic of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
- Work with the MHRA Clinical Trials protocols and guidelines.
- Provide expertise and consulting within Clinical Services across Key Access Programs, working with the buying team on Strategic Sourcing and Procurement of Comparators.
- Lead the contracting and tendering process while facilitating the preparation and delivery of comprehensive proposals.
- Provide the highest standards of service and expertise with a strong sense of ethics and customer focus.
- Align operational imperatives with strategic vision, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects, cultivating robust partnerships across the pharmaceutical and biotech landscape.
- Regularly collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative service models tailored to evolving client requirements, ensuring the seamless integration of compliance, cost-efficiency, and quality.
- Manage performance tracking to defined targets and KPIs, accurately forecasting reporting on commercial objectives.
- Ensure cross-functional integration of tasks and commitment to business objectives and goals.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in one of the sciences or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the clinical/healthcare industry, preferably clinical trials.
- Strong understanding of project management.
- Strong understanding of the clinical trial process and clinical trial protocols.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in various planning stages concurrently.
- Ability to track and manage key dates/deadlines.
