We are seeking an experienced Analytical Scientist to join our laboratory team in Ruislip. This laboratory-based role involves performing routine and non-routine analyses to support product development, stability programs, and quality control of pharmaceutical products.
About the role:
- Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, HPLC-MS, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, particle size analysis, and titrations.
- Manage stability sample loading, pooling, and testing for product development and licensed product programs.
- Perform analytical development testing and technical transfer analysis to support new product introduction.
- Analyse investigational samples to support complaint investigations, OOS (Out-of-Specification), and OOT (Out-of-Trend) results.
- Assist with laboratory deviations and escalate critical compliance issues via the site Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS).
- Prepare and standardise chemical reagents and laboratory solutions; calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results and adhere to data integrity and laboratory safety procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support process validation, cleaning validation, audits, regulatory inspections, and CAPA implementation.
About you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent science-related discipline (required).
- Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, particle size analysis, and titrations (required).
- Knowledge of EU GMP guidelines and laboratory compliance standards (required).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively (required).
