Job Purpose:
The Goods In Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, logging, and management of all incoming goods and deliveries. This role supports warehouse operations by maintaining accurate records, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check incoming deliveries for accuracy and condition.
- Accurately log goods into the inventory management system (WMS).
- Communicate discrepancies, damages, or delays to relevant departments and suppliers.
- Label and organize stock for efficient warehouse storage and retrieval.
- Coordinate with buyers and production teams on delivery schedules and inventory requirements.
- File and maintain delivery documentation (e.g., delivery notes, invoices, packing list).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures during unloading and storage.
- Monitor stock levels and flag potential shortages or excesses.
- Assist with periodic stock takes and inventory audits.
- Support general warehouse administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good IT skills, especially in using warehouse or inventory management systems; knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
