A superb opportunity has arisen to work in our highly regarded Keswick Tearooms. Welcoming guests through our doors for over 70 years, we are renowned throughout Cumbria and are a long established destination for visitors year on year.

We are looking for a commis chef who will assist the head chef in preparing high quality meals from local fresh ingredients, with a focus on breakfasts, lunch and seasonal specials.

About You:

  • Previous experience in preparing fresh food to a high standard in a busy environment.
  • Reliable, organised and used to working independently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare breakfast and lunch items to order.
  • Deliver quality daily and weekly specials.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.

The role comprises 5 daytime shifts per week, start 8.15 am finish 5.30 pm, including weekends.
