Bryson Skye Associates are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Building Manager / Community Host to join a premium, modern workspace in Manchester. This is a highly customer-facing role, ideal for someone from a hospitality, concierge, building management, or front-of-house background who enjoys creating outstanding experiences and building strong relationships. You will be the face of the building, responsible for delivering a welcoming, professional, and community-driven environment for members, visitors, and senior stakeholders.
The role involves taking full ownership of the day-to-day running of the building, ensuring a seamless experience for members and guests while maintaining high presentation and service standards throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting clients, members, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Acting as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and day-to-day support
- Managing non-technical customer queries relating to the workspace and facilities
- Building strong relationships with members and fostering a sense of community
- Supporting networking events, workshops, and social gatherings
- Acting as a point of knowledge for the local area and surrounding amenities
- Ensuring the workspace is clean, organised, and well-maintained
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with the operational team regarding technical issues
- Assisting with room bookings, desk allocations, and member check-ins and check-outs
- Supporting adherence to on-site rules, terms, and conditions
- Acting as Fire Marshal in the event of an emergency
- Conducting tours for prospective members and explaining membership options
- Supporting the onboarding of new members
- Assisting with marketing activity and promoting events and services
- Engaging with members looking to upgrade or serve notice on their membership
- Closing down the building and amenity areas at the end of the day
- Liaising with senior management and the wider facilities team
The person:
- Experience in a Building Manager, Hospitality, Concierge, or front-of-house role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, well-presented, and approachable
- Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
- Proactive, with a positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
