The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department by delivering high-quality administrative and customer support services. This role requires a proactive, organised individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and excellent customer service.
What you NEED to bring to the table:
- Experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
- Knowledge of data protection, confidentiality, and handling information in the workplace
- Experience using standard software packages e.g. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to cover for other staff and be flexible with hours if needed (filling shifts between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm)
Additional points if you have the following:
- Relevant administration or business qualification (e.g. NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent)
- Valid full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle
