Role: Total Support Worker- Sitting respite service / Support with Daily Living
To support people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible by carrying out sitting/respite and household duties to facilitate independent living and enhance their overall quality of life., * To provide support in a person-centred, caring, reliable and flexible manner based on individual need.

To assist people with day to day living tasks including housework and shopping.

To provide a sitting/respite service in order for carers/family to have time away from their direct caring responsibilities

To identify risks within the home and report these to the Service Co-ordinator
-
To complete the hours and tasks allocated by the Service Management Team
-
To report any changes in the Service User’s condition
-
To attend team meetings
-
To participate in supervision with Line Manager
-
To participate in a formal induction
-
To participate in training as required.

To register with NISCC and keep annual registration up to date

To work effectively and flexibly as part of a team

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Ability to work as part of a team

Flexible approach to working hours

Access to transport or public transport in order to carry out the duties of the post, * Care home: 1 year (preferred)

Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Salary: £12.12ph plus mileage
