Bryson Recycling is seeking a proactive and creative Communications Officer to support the delivery of internal and external communications, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement activities. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for communications, marketing, and engagement, who is keen to play a key role in promoting our services, strengthening staff engagement, and supporting organisational growth.
You will gain hands-on experience managing social media, coordinating campaigns and events, contributing to impactful communication strategies, and supporting the delivery of our contractual social value commitments through collaboration, tracking progress, and reporting across the organisation.
What you NEED to bring to the table:
- Two years experience in a relevant role OR a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (e.g. Marketing)
- At least six months experience managing corporate social media accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in report writing
- Current driving license
Bonus Points if you’ve got:
- Experience working in recycling or waste management
- Experience creating and designing engaging content using Canva
- Experience of coordinating contractual social value commitments, including tracking progress, gathering evidence, and producing reports
