The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of a frontline operational contract, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You will lead, manage, and develop operational crews, acting as the first point of contact for councils, while maintaining full oversight of service delivery, performance, and compliance. This is a people-first leadership role requiring strong communication, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to challenge, investigate, and drive accountability across teams.
What you NEED to bring to the table:
- Minimum of 3+ years experience managing frontline teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment (e.g. retail, hospitality, logistics or similar environment)
- Proven experience handling people management issues, including performance, conduct, absence, and conflict resolution
- Experience using data, reports, and performance metrics to monitor and improve operational performance
- Good level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety practices and relevant operational standards
Bonus Points if you have:
- Understanding of operational service delivery within logistics, waste, or similar environments
