Full Time, Permanent (35 hours) Monday to Friday £32,500 per annum plus mileage and benefits

Job Purpose: The Compliance & Quality Lead provides independent operational oversight of compliance, governance, and quality assurance across the domiciliary care service. The role ensures ongoing compliance with RQIA Minimum Standards, statutory regulations, safeguarding requirements, and contractual obligations. Working in partnership with the Registered Manager, the postholder will provide professional assurance, constructive challenge, and expert oversight. They will proactively identify risks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure robust governance systems are embedded and sustained throughout the service.

Essential Criteria:

  • Level 5 diploma in leadership for health & social care
  • Registered with NISCC (or eligible & willing to register)
  • Experience in a regulated care setting (ideally domiciliary care), including compliance, governance, safeguarding, and involvement in RQIA inspections or regulatory reviews.
  • Strong working knowledge of RQIA Minimum Standards, safeguarding frameworks in Northern Ireland, and governance and risk management principles, with the ability to interpret regulations and translate them into operational practice.
  • Excellent audit, analytical, report-writing, communication, and influencing skills.
  • High level of IT competence, including the use of care management and reporting systems.
  • Full driving licence & access to a car
  • Have a flexible approach to work
  • Participate in on-call rota as required

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience acting as a compliance or quality lead
  • Training in audit, safeguarding, governance or quality improvement
  • Experience working across multiple HSC trust contracts
