On Call Liaison Officer Bryson Care Belfast (C/LO/B/0626) £15.69 per hour

Location: Remote Working/Hybrid Work is allocated on a rotational basis

About the Role

The On Call Liaison Officer is tasked with ensuring seamless care continuity for service users within their homes. This role involves coordinating holiday, sickness, and emergency calls, as well as providing support to Care Workers outside of standard office hours. The primary focus is on facilitating effective communication to ensure efficient shift coverage and the delivery of necessary support for clients' healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead by example and set high standards.
  • Capacity to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Confident and clear approach in advising Care Workers.
  • Respectful handling of Service Users' situations with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, multitasking and adapting to change.

Essential Criteria

  • Proficient understanding and hands-on experience within the domiciliary care sector, including regulations and legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability in organizing staff schedules, particularly for Care Workers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and time management capabilities.
  • Access to transport to meet the needs of the post.

Desirable Criteria

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
