We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental team. The successful candidate will be required to cover a 12 month maternity leave role with the potential of this role becoming permanent. The individual will play a vital role in supporting dentists during patient treatments, ensuring a high standard of patient care and maintaining smooth clinical operations.

Duties- Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
- Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organised appointment schedules.
- Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure comfort and reassurance.
- Maintaining the clinical area in a tidy, organised manner to promote infection control standards.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing stock levels of dental supplies.
- Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse preferred or an experienced Trainee Dental Nurse will be considered.
- Knowledge of patient care procedures within a dental setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Organisational skills are important for managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining accurate records.
