This is a rare but hugely exciting opportunity for a talented employee benefits/incentives associate lawyer to join the London office of this global elite US firm offering forward career progression as well as Cravath-scale compensation.
This is a developing department which is gaining a strong reputation advising major public and private companies, as well as their board of directors and management on the full range of executive and employee incentive and compensation arrangements.
The group's incentive lawyers are an inherent part of the firm's deal team advising on multinational matters, working with colleagues and local counsel globally. The client base is wide, providing a great breadth of work, ranging from start-ups operating EMI plans and growth share arrangements, to large publicly listed companies operating multiple all-employee plans worldwide.
The new hire will work across all aspects of their incentive and remuneration arrangements, providing a varied mix of both transactional and stand-alone advisory work. This will include advising on the impact of M&A, disposals, IPOs, capital raisings, financings and re-structures on employee incentive and remuneration arrangements.
Advisory work includes the design/operation of remuneration and equity-based incentive programmes, compliance with corporate governance/regulatory standards, as well as high-profile executive appointments and departures.
You will currently have between 2 and 5 years PQE with the incentives group of a major international firm in London combining strong, broad experience with excellent academic credentials. This is a superb opportunity in a growing and highly talented team.
