This prestigious US White Shoe law firm is seeking to recruit a talented Cybersecurity & Privacy Associate (2–4 PQE) to join its highly regarded international practice in London.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading global team advising some of the world's most prominent organisations on complex, high-profile cybersecurity, data privacy, artificial intelligence and emerging technology matters.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work on a broad range of sophisticated, often cross-border matters, including:
- Cybersecurity preparedness, incident response and post-incident remediation.
- Regulatory investigations involving data privacy and cybersecurity.
- Advising on UK and EU regulatory frameworks
- AI governance, emerging technologies and associated regulatory developments.
- Drafting and negotiating data processing agreements and privacy documentation.
- Cybersecurity and data privacy due diligence in connection with major M&A transactions.
- Collaborating with colleagues across international offices and practice groups on complex multijurisdictional mandates.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2–4 years' PQE, qualified in England & Wales or an equivalent common law jurisdiction.
- Strong experience in data privacy and cybersecurity, particularly incident response.
- Training and experience gained at a leading international or City law firm.
