We are seeking talented Principal Mechanical Engineers to join our expanding teams in London and St Albans. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to develop innovative, high-performance, optimised designs. Your experience and expertise will play a pivotal role in driving project success through direct client engagement, seamless collaboration, and delivering efficient, high-quality solutions.
We are seeking experienced Principal Mechanical Engineers to lead on a series of high-profile projects across multiple international locations, which include:
- Data centres and mission critical facilities
- Infrastructure projects
- Large-scale industrial facilities
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large-scale industrial facilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
- Experience in leading and managing the production and delivery of all aspects of mechanical design as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
- Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical technical design for all RIBA stages, including carrying out calculations, strategy development, project coordination, controls and commissioning.
