We are seeking talented Principal Mechanical Engineers to join our expanding teams in London and St Albans.

We are seeking experienced Principal Mechanical Engineers to lead on a series of high-profile projects across multiple international locations, which include:

  • Data centres and mission critical facilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large-scale industrial facilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
  • Experience in leading and managing the production and delivery of all aspects of mechanical design as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical technical design for all RIBA stages.

Including carrying out calculations, strategy development, project coordination, controls and commissioning, H&S and risk management and technical design delivery.

  • Experience in training and mentoring engineers.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Proficiency in mechanical calculation software.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards chartership.
  • Experience in project financial management, administration and fee bids.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks.
  • Experience in Design & Build (D&B) projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery
