Work will consist of assisting with oversight of electrical installations for renovation, addition and new construction work with values from $100.00 to $25,000,000.00 for public, private and government projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a liaison between architects, engineers and owners to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
- Responsible for reviewing all drawings, specifications and changes throughout the project.
- Confirm that all drawings and specs are complete per the list of documents.
- Review Project Information List for quick reference of job specific conditions and ensure supervisors and subcontractors are aware.
- Compile complete bill of materials for all quotables and then notify at least three qualified vendors/subcontractors of the pricing needs and requirements.
- Prepare monthly progress billings.
- Price and prepare proposals for changing work during execution of contract.
- Provide technical knowledge assistance to supervisor during installation of all electrical components.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Has five years or more of previous electrical experience with a minimum of two of those years working in the field (Commercial/Industrial/Institutional).
- Prior experience with electronic estimating software preferably Accubid.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- High school graduate, holder of GED or equivalent training.
- Current driver’s license and have own transportation.
- Clean driving record required for use of company vehicle if required to attend meetings/site.
- Drug testing is required.
