We are seeking a Teacher of Art, for September 2026, who can inspire pupils in a wide variety of practical art skills such as painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. The successful candidate will teach Art to Year 9 – Year 13 pupils and have high expectations, dynamism, and excellent pedagogical skills. It is a popular subject at GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate.
We expect our teachers to champion their subject and to encourage intellectual curiosity and active learning. Knowledge of GCSE and A Level Fine Art and specialist skills in painting, drawing and printmaking is desirable.
The Don Potter Art block is a purpose-built faculty building incorporating the ethos of the department in its architecture and featuring purpose-built studios plus areas dedicated to practical work such as screen printing, sculpture, painting and textiles.
Bryanston is a leading co-educational full-boarding school set in a beautiful 400-acre campus, surrounded by Dorset countryside, and provides an outstanding education for 780 pupils aged 3-18.
