Bryanston isseekingan enthusiastic and knowledgeableFilm Technicianto join our dynamic Film Department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our IB Film programme, helping students develop the technicalexpertise, creative visionand practical production skills needed to bring their ideas to life.
Working closely with teaching staff, you will deliver practical workshops and provide individual technical support across all stages of film production. Yourexpertisewill help students build confidence in camera operation and set-up, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, productionworkflowsand post-production editing using DaVinci Resolve.
You will alsobe responsible forthe day-to-day management of the department's film and media production equipment, ensuring it is wellmaintained, organised and ready for use. This includesmaintainingequipment inventories and booking systems,monitoringequipment condition, arrangingrepairsand servicing, and making recommendations for future purchases and upgrades to ensure the department continues to provide students with access to high-qualityresources.
