Role Description
The Business Development Manager role is a full-time hybrid position based in Dorking, with the flexibility to work from home when needed. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams, create and execute strategic business plans, and assist in achieving company-wide goals through customer acquisition, market research, and promoting company products.
Qualifications
- Proven ability in Sales and Business Development, with experience in client relationship management and negotiations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation and networking abilities.
- Understanding of market research, data analysis, and strategic planning to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Familiarity with the global food ingredient and flavour industry or related industries is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant software tools for reporting, CRM, and data management.
- A degree or equivalent qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and client visits, as required.
