Health and Safety Consultant | West Midlands / Hybrid with travel £40-50K + car allowance + benefits Our client have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice, conducting comprehensive audits, and helping clients to maintain compliance. This role is home-based with a local office in Birmingham, client sites across the West Midlands and some travel further afield, supporting a mixed client-base across sectors including: * Retail * Manufacturing * Warehousing * Haulage * Motor Trade * Care Key responsibilities: * Conducting comprehensive Health and Safety Audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations. * Completing fire risk assessments to mitigate risks and ensure safety standards are upheld. * Undertaking risk assessments and developing effective risk management strategies. * Developing safety policies and procedures tailored to client needs. * Providing expert advice and support to clients on all health and safety matters, ensuring best practices are followed. * Delivering Health and Safety training, including IOSH Managing Safely courses. Qualifications: * NEBOSH Certificate or NEBOSH Diploma * Member of IOSH (TechIOSH, CertIOSH or CMIOSH) * NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent. Skills: * Proven experience in health and safety consultancy. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail. * Proficient in preparing detailed, high-quality reports and documentation. * Experience in the insurance industry would be beneficial.
