H&S Compliance Manager – FM / Commercial Property Location: London Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Benefits Employment: Permanent, Full Time Bryan & Armstrong are working with a fast-growing managed office provider to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager to take ownership of statutory compliance, building safety and Health & Safety across a growing portfolio of commercial office properties in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive compliance professional to develop and manage a robust compliance framework, working closely with operational teams, project managers and external contractors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring statutory obligations are met, managing compliance risks and driving continuous improvement across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities * Take ownership of statutory compliance and Health & Safety across a multi-site commercial property portfolio. * Act as the designated competent person for Health & Safety, providing technical advice and guidance across the business. * Manage statutory compliance requirements covering fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas and electrical safety. * Coordinate statutory inspections, testing, maintenance and remedial works, ensuring compliance obligations are met. * Undertake and review risk assessments, identifying and managing compliance risks. * Manage external compliance contractors, monitoring performance, service delivery and standards. * Develop and maintain compliance systems, processes, documentation and reporting. * Work closely with Facilities Management, Operations and Project teams to embed compliance requirements and drive continuous improvement. Experience & Qualifications * NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent – essential. * Previous experience in a Compliance Manager, Building Compliance Manager, Statutory Compliance or H&S management role. * Experience managing statutory compliance across commercial property, managed offices or Facilities Management environments. * Strong knowledge of UK statutory compliance requirements, including fire, water hygiene, asbestos, gas and electrical safety. * Experience managing contractors, statutory maintenance programmes, risk assessments and remedial actions. * Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and work independently.
