Head of Building Safety and Compliance | South West London | £85-£90k + Excellent Package

Are you a dedicated professional in building safety and compliance, ready to lead a crucial team? We are seeking an experienced Head of Building Safety and Compliance for a Housing Association based in South West London.

The Role:

As the Head of Building Safety and Compliance, you will play a vital part in ensuring our properties meet the highest safety and compliance standards. You will lead a team including specialists in compliance, fire safety, asbestos management, and health and safety. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and developing compliance frameworks and safety management systems.
2. Overseeing statutory and regulatory compliance in areas such as fire safety, asbestos management, and mechanical/electrical services.
3. Providing strategic oversight of inspection programs and compliance reporting.
4. Ensuring rigorous data management and providing expert guidance on building safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience: Proven track record in senior-level building safety and compliance roles, with expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams and implementing best practices.
2. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in driving high-performance outputs, collaborating across departments, and delivering consistent, cost-effective safety services.
3. Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma, CIOB Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management (or equivalent experience).
4. Technical Skills: Strong IT abilities with knowledge of risk management databases and relevant software.
