Join Our Growing National Valuation Team. Here at Bruton Knowles we are entering an exciting new phase of growth and we're expanding our National Valuation Team to meet increasing demand from commercial and residential lending clients. As part of this investment, we're looking to recruit 6 RICS Registered Valuers across the Greater London and Home Counties region.

You will be joining an established team servicing high street and secondary lenders across the full range of property asset types, utilising the latest technology and working practices to deliver class leading service levels.

Level: Senior Surveyor, Associate or Partner

Location: London Area, covering Central and Home Counties within approximately a one-hour commute of London such as Guildford, Reading, Maidstone and Chelmsford.

Work Pattern: Hybrid, permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) but we are happy to consider flexible working approaches for this role. This is a field-based role.

Team: National Valuation Team, Red-Book Valuations. You will be joining a National Team that covers England, Wales and Scotland.

Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Employee Benefits Package including an EV scheme.

About the role: As an MRICS Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, you will deliver RICS Red Book-compliant valuations for secured lending purposes across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential assets, including owner-occupied, investment and development properties. Working with high street banks, challenger banks and specialist lenders, you'll value a wide variety of property types, ensuring every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You'll also contribute to large portfolio instructions, collaborate with valuation specialists across our UK-wide network, and utilise the latest technology and modern working practices to deliver an exceptional client service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out Red Book valuations of commercial and residential properties for secured lending and accounting purposes.
  • Maximising efficiency and optimising the profitability of work for the team.
  • Supporting the team in providing high quality valuation advice to a wide range of clients.

Qualifications & Experience: To be successful you must have the following:

  • MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer status essential.
  • 2 years PQE valuation experience. Those close to this would be considered.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car.

Interview Process: An initial 10-15 minute confidential call about the role with the recruiter Naomi Corcoran. Followed by a one stage interview with the Managing Partner and Valuation Faculty Head.
