An opportunity is now open for a Senior Surveyor or Associate Valuation Surveyor to join our thriving, growing and collaborative National Valuation Team in our Gloucester Head Office. This position has opened due to the number of client instructions we have received in the last few months.
Location: Gloucester, with access to our Gloucester hub (GL2) and team. You will have access to free on-site parking.
Work Type: Hybrid working, Permanent, Full-Time but we are happy to consider flexible working approaches for this role.
Team: National Valuation Team, Red-Book Valuations.

About the role: You will have a key role in delivering Red Book-compliant valuations for commercial, bank & investment and development land. We have a diverse portfolio of commercial property and development land, giving you the variety and scope to keep your work engaging and high-impact. We currently have valuation surveyors nationally and as part of a wider national valuation network, you will have the opportunity to contribute to larger portfolio valuations and benefit from the shared knowledge of specialists across the UK. This opportunity would suit someone who is a MRICS Chartered Surveyor and a Registered Valuer to carry out Red Book valuations on commercial, bank/investment properties. Experience in the trade related valuation sector would also be considered.

What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out Red Book valuations of commercial and residential properties for secured lending and accounting purposes.
- Fee Earner – maximise fee income.
- Maximising efficiency and optimising the profitability of work for the team.
- Supporting the team in providing high quality valuation advice to a wide range of clients.
- Helping to secure business opportunities from client development for the company.
Qualifications & Experience: To be successful you must have the following:
- MRICS/FRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer status essential.
- 2 years PQE valuation experience or those approaching Registered Valuer status will be considered.
- Experience in commercial valuation within consultancy, bank/investment market, with some experience of valuing mixed use properties (i.e includes some residential).
- Full Driving licence and access to a car.
Interview Process: An initial 10-15 minutes confidential call about the role with the recruiter Naomi Corcoran. Followed by a one stage competency-based interview with the Valuations Head of/Partner.
