We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Land Helpdesk Manager to join our National Utilities and Infrastructure Team to support the delivery of core services relating to pipeline operations across the UK. This role is central to ensuring efficient communication, administration, and planning coordination between internal teams and a wide range of external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for managing a busy helpdesk function, supporting contract administration activities, coordinating planning application reviews, and assisting with annual landowner communications.
- Manage day-to-day enquiries from internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, and post.
- Ensure all enquiries are responded to quickly and within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain dedicated communication channels (email, phone, postal address).
- Triage and escalate enquiries appropriately, including:
- Pipeline safety concerns and emergencies
- Works near pipelines
- Planning and development queries
- Property sale enquiries
- Site visit requests
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in technical administration and coordination of activities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder priorities.
- Client service orientation.
- Commercial awareness.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong systems knowledge.
