About The Role

Job Summary:

As a Service Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the existing management, development and delivery of Transformer Service offerings within the allocated territory. Sustainable growth of such products will be measured in line with assigned targets and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To achieve or exceed orders, at budget contribution margin or better, from a defined set of accounts/targets including Actively pursuing new service clients
  • Help to develop and implement the service sales strategies
  • Reporting of market intelligence to Senior Services Sales Manager to aid BRUSH strategies and enhance Service opportunities
  • Feeding the customers voice into product development processes
  • Contribute to the development of sales tools and promotional activity
  • Initiate and maintain order intake and sales forecasts including assistance in setting the priorities for the Tendering/Project Management teams
  • Negotiate with customers, ensuring that margins are satisfactory and achievable, also ensuring that agreed/approved terms and conditions of contract are complied with
  • Contribute to promotional planning and represent BRUSH at industry events in a professional manner befitting a premium brand
  • Identification, implementation, and continuous management of Invitation to Tender applications (ITT’s) & online contractor and supplier management platforms
  • Identify and assist in the development of R&D projects that benefit BRUSH as a Group.
  • Contribute towards the successful delivery of previously won projects through product knowledge and understanding
  • Continuously work to provide technical support to customers where required through online communication, customer site visits and employed of necessary sub-contractors when required
  • Support colleagues with enquires and collaborate with other divisions of BRUSH where possible to generate higher revenue for the BRUSH Group
  • Identify potential “up-seller” replacement Transformers that would generate additional revenue outside of standard specification.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Qualifications

  • HNC or Equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Skills / Knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of Transformer Service portfolio
  • Knowledge and understanding of market for Transformer Service
  • Demonstrable knowledge of sales & marketing techniques including commercial risk mitigation
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining highly effective working relationships.
Experience
  • 3 Years + experience in a similar position within the Power Distribution industry
  • Tendering experience
  • Project management experience
  • Previous site based role/experience in the Power Distribution/Transformer industry (desirable).
