About The Role

Job Summary: Eta Projects are excited to share an opportunity for an experienced Revit BIM Technician to join our team in our new London based office. In this role, you will be a key member of our CAD team, helping to drive the development and integration of Revit into our design workflows. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about BIM and eager to push the boundaries of how Revit is used within our projects and processes.

As a Revit Technician, you will contribute to the design and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, working across both new-build developments and existing hospital facilities. You will be responsible for producing accurate, well-coordinated 3D models, demonstrating a strong attention to detail. Collaborating closely with our team of electrical and mechanical engineers, you’ll play a key role in driving projects forward to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Full 3D MEP Services models within Revit
  • Creating annotated Frontsheets and details within Revit
  • Co-ordinating with Architects and in-house Engineers
  • Undertaking Clash-detection and delivering reports to engineers
  • Supporting the CAD team with development of 2D MEP services layouts when required
  • Managing CAD related documents such as Drawing issue registers and Drawing PDFs
  • Undertaking On-site Surveys utilizing Pointcloud Scanning technology

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Strong understanding and ability with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD is essential. Navisworks experience would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working within the Building Services and/or Healthcare sector (2+ Years) is essential
  • Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE’s) Such as ACC (AutoDesk Construction Cloud)
  • Solid communication skills both in-person and online (Emails, MS Teams)
  • Critical problem solving skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet project deadlines.
  • Relevant Autodesk Software certificates or similar qualifications would be beneficial but not a key requirement.
  • Previous experience with Revit extensions, such as Fabrication or MagiCAD desirable.
  • Experience with modeling with Pointcloud file outputs (.e57 & .XYZ) is beneficial.
