The role? The despatch coordinator will support the despatch supervisor to manage the end-to-end process of planning, organising and overseeing the efficient and accurate despatch of finished goods from site to customers or distribution centres. This will include coordinating with the production team, ensuring orders are processed, packed, and shipped on time, maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily despatches in line with production output and customer delivery requirements.
- Liaise closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely despatch of goods.
- Ensure all goods are checked, labelled, and securely packaged before shipment.
- Book and coordinate transport with company vehicles or approved third-party carriers.
- Prepare and verify all transport and shipping documentation (delivery notes, manifests, export paperwork if required).
- Support with packing goods.

- Forklift licence.
- Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
