To drive profitable growth across the oil & gas sector by securing power transformer and MV/HV switchgear opportunities within projects, including offshore platforms, refineries, petrochemical plants, LNG terminals, and pipeline infrastructure. The role will position the business as a strategic power infrastructure partner to oil & gas operators, EPC contractors, and engineering consultants, delivering technically robust, safety-compliant, and commercially competitive solutions aligned to complex project environments and execution programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a structured sales strategy targeting the oil & gas sector, including:
    • Upstream operators (offshore & onshore production)
    • Midstream infrastructure (pipelines, storage, terminals)
    • Downstream facilities (refining, petrochemical, LNG)
    • EPC contractors and system integrators
  • Identify and qualify pipeline opportunities across early-stage project development.
  • Map key decision-makers across developers, consultants, project managers, and principal contractors.
  • Secure new orders for:
    • Power transformers (distribution, process plants, grid interface)
    • MV & HV switchgear (AIS, GIS, E-House / modular substations)
    • Hazardous area and offshore-compatible solutions
  • Develop framework agreements and preferred supplier status with key oil & gas operators and EPC contractors.
  • Maintain a 12–36 month rolling opportunity pipeline.
  • Deliver annual order intake and margin targets.
What Are We Looking For
  • Minimum HNC (or equivalent)
  • Sales experience in the energy or power infrastructure sector, preferably within oil & gas
  • Strong account planning, customer management, and solution‑selling skills
  • Pre‑sales experience and ability to shape sales strategy in complex environments
  • Solid RFQ preparation and response experience
  • Technical and commercial negotiation experience (including pricing and T&Cs)
  • Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, and related equipment
