Profitable and sustainable growth through acquisitions remains a strategic focus. Supporting the Merger and Acquisition Director, the M&A Manager role has been created. Reporting to the Director of M&A, the M&A Manager is responsible for the project management of integration processes. The M&A Manager will support pre‑acquisition activities such as due diligence and integration planning, and take ownership of executing integration plans post‑completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the M&A Director in the project management of the entire acquisition process.
  • Coordinate internal and external due diligence activities (e.g., legal, tax, finance, operations).
  • Manage execution of 30 / 60 / 90‑day integration plans across all workstreams, with clear, trackable tasks, owners and deadlines.
  • Coordinate across functions (IT, Finance, HR, Operations, Commercial) to ensure alignment and pace – actively chase, unblock, and close actions.
  • Ensure business continuity is maintained throughout integration.
  • Maintain a live, working RAID log focused on action and resolution.
  • Quickly identify blockers and drive them to closure.
  • Manage cross‑functional dependencies and sequencing.

What Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, project management or a related field (Desirable).
  • Formal Project Management Qualification (Desirable).
  • Proven track record of leading project management in complex, highly dynamic environments.
  • Experience managing cross‑functional teams and working with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with change or integration management.
  • Experience with system implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and legal frameworks relevant to M&A transactions.
