Join BRUSH Group’s Eta Projects as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer and lead the design and implementation of compliant electrical strategies in high-impact projects across complex building environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems, including calculations, specifications, schedules, and technical drawings for healthcare specific building services.
- Prepare and present technical evidence, calculations, and design support for projects.
- Collaborate with senior design team members and internal disciplines (mechanical, electrical, public health, sustainability).
- Mentor junior/apprentice engineers and conduct initial technical reviews of their work.
- Support senior team on coordination with external design teams (architectural, structural, PQS, CDM) and internal CAD, Revit, and electrical disciplines.
- Assist in site surveys and promote best practices in design compliance.
Qualifications
- Working towards or holding a HNC/Degree qualification in Electrical Building Services, or proven experience in the field.
- Desire to progress toward professional engineering registration and relevant institute membership (CIBSE, IET, IHEEM).
- Experience designing electrical engineering services across diverse building types; healthcare experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Project), calculation software (Trimble, Etap, Dialux), and knowledge of British standards, building regulations, CDM regulations (HTMs beneficial).
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to build collaborative relationships within design teams.
