The role is part of the BRUSH Group IT Leadership team. It is responsible for defining the “To Be” state of the technology ecosystem, establishing architecture standards, and leading solution design across platforms to align with business goals and regulatory requirements. The holder will play a leading role in Digital Transformation projects, translating complex business needs into clear technology options and strategic recommendations, working with integration partners to evaluate solutions, highlight risks, develop and define architecture roadmaps, and champion continual improvement of the organization’s applications and technology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design of integrated solutions, aligned to enterprise architecture standards, business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project and support teams and vendors to define, document and communicate the solution options, designs and decisions to teams and stakeholders.
- Define and lead architecture vision, strategy, governance and standards to guide development across the BRUSH technology landscape.
- Mentor and guide both internal and external stakeholders, and other technical staff, ensuring work aligns with the overall BRUSH architecture strategy.
- Lead assessments of target company technology landscapes, including applications, infrastructure, data, and IT operating models.
- Identify key risks, technical debt, and value creation opportunities to inform decisions.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to present technical trade-offs and gain consensus, linking technology decisions to business outcomes.
- Work closely with BRUSH project teams, translating complex business needs into clear technology options and recommendations.
- Shape business change through architecture insight and innovation.
