What\βs the role? Working within the Engineering Department the role of Electrical Contracts Designer is to produce the electrical designs for the application of BRUSH Switchgears products. This would include Schematic/Wiring Diagrams, varying in degrees of complexity.Key Responsibilities:
- Working to instruction and/or specifications produced by the Applications Engineers
- Produce, design and/or modify drawings
- Create detailed schematic designs based on the customer requirements β designs to include CT/VT design, Electrical Interlocking Designs, Auto changeover Designs, control (Trip/Close) designs.
- Liaise directly with Manufacturing and Quality team members on issues relating to drawings.
What we\βre looking for:
- Qualified to HNC level in an Electrical Engineering Discipline
- AutoCAD 2D experience
- Knowledge of electrical principles
- Competent using Microsoft office β excel/word/outlook
