Working with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality departments to provide support on new and existing products, acting as an interface between engineering, operations, and procurement to strengthen the links between operational activities at the Blackwood site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong Manufacturing Engineering Experience
  • Proven background in manufacturing or production engineering
  • SolidWorks / CAD Experience
  • Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Experience: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, takt time analysis, waste reduction, visual management, and process optimisation
  • Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Competence in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks or Creo) for tooling, jigs, fixtures, and production aids
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and production readiness activities
  • Project management experience, including implementation of process improvements or capital projects
  • Awareness of health & safety requirements within an industrial/manufacturing environment
