You’ll be based at our Union office in the centre of Manchester. However we are looking to relocate to our Lancastrian office in Old Trafford in the summer of 2026.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an Interior Designer who can work independently, so if you’ve been a sole designer or you have freelance experience, managing your own workload then this could suit your working style very well. It could certainly still be appropriate for an Interior Designer who works in a team – however you must be comfortable working independently and driving your own projects.
- Experience working within the workplace sector with the ability to design and deliver projects on time and within agreed budgets
- An experienced Interior Designer – capable of working independently and taking ownership of projects – managing stakeholders and timeframes/budgets
- Ability to meet directly with our customers and undertake tasks such as brief taking and design workshops
- Adept multi-tasker who who can manage multiple projects at once
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCad, Sketch-Up, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Ability to implement projects in line with company brand and design principles
- A comprehensive understanding and knowledge of UK Building & Planning regulations would be advantageous but can be supported by the wider team
What will you be doing
- Supported by our Development Manager you’ll take full ownership of the interior design function for Bruntwood
- Working closely with internal stakeholders including building & construction, asset management and commercial – collaborating and effectively communicating to deliver the highest quality product for Bruntwood and our customers.
- Provide services such as commercial viewing support, workplace consultancy, test fit plans and CAT A / CAT A+ / CAT B fit-outs.
- Supporting Bruntwood in the continued improvement of our buildings by providing design schemes for our receptions, WCs, common parts and amenity spaces.
- Be the interior design expert, showing creativity whilst adhering to design principles
- A passion for design, keeping up with the latest trends with competitor analysis
